Sit on Top Kayaks and Liquid Shredder SUP Rentals

Astoria Scuba and Kayak has more sit-on-top kayaks to rent than any Oregon coastal location.   The advantage of renting a Sit-On-Top is that little training is required, versus the two day classes of Eskimo roles, bale outs, or getting in and pumping out the kayak like more conventional sit-ins.

Fishing Kayaks and SUPS

Catch the kayak fishing fever with the extensive range of specialty fishing kayaks. Fishing is now a major activity for both casual and serious angler. Kayak fishing has many advantages over traditional day-boating. (not including the high price for petrol for a day on the water!). A fishing kayak can easily be handled by one person and can be on the water quickly and easily. It gets in and out of tight fishing spots easily.  You can’t beat the rush of being towed by a 20lb Chinook, Or Columbia River Sturgeon!!

Sit on Top Kayaks have been designed for fishing and diving. This means they have unparalleled stability with “stealth” hulls that reduce water noise that spook fish. The large flat utility deck areas are a key feature of Sit on Top kayaks allowing a huge range of options for deck and hatch lay-out.

A type of fishing flagship is the Marauder which features a built-in locker and bait-board and a large storage well,  combined with fitted hatches and rod-holders.

The Cobra Navigator, Fish N Dive and Marauder fishing kayaks have specially modified scuppers and are transducer ready.
